Presentation

Questions de communication is published with the support of the Centre de recherche sur les médiations (Université de Lorraine) and the Institut national des sciences humaines et sociales (CNRS).

As part of the Ques2ComSO project, the journal is financed with the support of the Fonds national pour la science ouverte.

Editorial project

Questions de communication is a biannual peer-reviewed journal (double-blind expertise), organized into six sections.

It promotes the deepening or renewal of approaches to a theme - the subject of the Issue - through the cross-fertilization of contributions referring to different scientific traditions.

Based on pluralism, it encourages debates on concepts or methods used in works dealing with information and communication. For the Exchanges, researchers are asked to discuss a scientific theme that is the subject of debate, based on a source text, with the author of the latter closing each series with a response to his or her discussants. The Research Notes present either a theoretical or a methodological focus, or an investigation of an innovative topic.

By paying attention to an international dimension, the journal aims to increase the circulation of knowledge and comparative dynamics. The Original version section welcomes the contribution of a researcher who presents his or her work, unpublished or not, in English, and introduces approaches that are little known in the French-speaking world. The Focus sections offer an in-depth reading of a recent work, the expectations of which are discussed, and of a work that is part of the classic scientific literature in order to study its heuristic interest and posterity. Finally, researchers of various nationalities, generations and disciplines review works in the humanities and social sciences in the form of reviews that contribute to the analysis of phenomena in the field of information-communication.
